Mike Baron carried out a guest satisfaction survey at a national visitor attraction.
One factor that came out in the survey was that there were not enough places to sit
during a visit. This was pointed out to the management that then arranged for more
seating. The impact of this was that the length of stay increase by 27% but also
the spend per visitor on retail and catering increased by 41%!
